One of the biggest indoor playcentres in the Southern Hemisphere opens in Victoria
Melburnians will become the first to experience Victoria’s largest indoor playcentre and one of the biggest and most innovative playcentres in the Southern Hemisphere when Rabbit Hole opens its doors in Braybrook on Thursday, 15 March.
Rabbit Hole Kids Playcentre is the brainchild of four Melbourne-based parents who are kids at heart themselves. The multi-million dollar facility, spread over 2,550sqm, will allow families to enjoy magical moments together in a wonderland setting with endless opportunities to explore something new and exciting upon every visit.
Comprising multi-functional spaces, party rooms, a disco room, cooking school, and an indoor rock climbing wall, this next generation purpose-built indoor playground with modern quality interiors has been designed to stimulate imagination, encourage exploration and foster creativity through play.
Rabbit Hole’s multiple themed areas offer a range of unique and engaging play elements. Aspiring astronauts will be sure to love Space World while water babies will feel right at home in Sea World. For nature lovers there is The Forest, while the acrobatically inclined can show off their circus skills at the Carnival and foodies can realise their gastronomical dreams in the Cooking School.
Rabbit Hole aims to be a place that kids will not only love, but also that parents can trust. With safety as the top priority, staff are fully first aid qualified and the centre has been specifically designed so that children can be supervised from all vantage points.
One of the Founders of Rabbit Hole, CJ Duong, said they saw a gap in the market of limited options of places to take kids on the weekends and during school holidays, which would challenge and entertain their senses and imagination. Many of their friends felt the same way.
“Our vision was to create the ultimate indoor playcentre, one which provides both active play and imagination-based activities in a safe, bright and friendly environment,” he said.
“The aim of Rabbit Hole is to get kids interacting with each other, using their imaginations and being creative, just as we used to when we were children. We’ve created a space where kids will be swept off their feet as they enter a magical fantasy world, a place where they can learn and have fun at the same time.”
The centre can cater for birthdays, private functions, corporate events, team building and school groups, and the 10 multi-functional rooms means that Rabbit Hole can theme each room to ensure your event is more memorable. Each room can hold between 20 – 30 people across various sessions throughout the day.
Parties can also be hosted in the open space cooking school, through an exciting cooking class program, suitable for a variety of ages and skills. Children aged 3+ will learn the basics of cooking alongside some all-important kitchen safety tips, all while preparing delicious treats.
For those looking to rest up after overdoing it in the ball pit, or refuel between trips on the slides, Rabbit Hole also has a café, serving a variety of food alongside barista-made coffees, while the lolly shop sells a range of merchandise and confectionery to take home.
